IndiGo is the leading and one of the most efficient low-cost carriers (LCC) of India. This airline operates hundreds of flights every day, and its wide network includes Delhi, Mumbai, Jaipur, Lucknow and Singapore. It is known for offering cheap flight tickets that become even more economical under air ticket offer announced by the LCC. The most recent scheme launched by IndiGo allows travellers to make reservations with the carrier at INR 1499, for a number of domestic destinations. However, bookings have to be made at least 90 days before the travel date.
To avail services of IndiGo on routes like Delhi to Mumbai and Jaipur, travellers just have to pay INR 1499 and 2953, respectively. Prior to this, Jet Airways also announced an offer on its domestic network. This scheme is also valid on reservations made before 90 days of the travel date, which should fall after July 1, 2015. Under this scheme, the carrier is offering Economy Class seats at fares as low as INR 1933. The cost of flights to Bengaluru and Chennai from its primary hub Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport is INR 2459 and 3523, respectively. The carrier has introduced another offer that includes up to 50 per discount of fares for selected routes in Premiere Class bookings. To avail benefits of this offer, people have to make their reservations between March 11 and 15, 2015.
Airlines often announce such air ticket offer to attract travellers in the first and third quarters as demand for travel is low in these periods. In addition to this, offers are also rolled out by carriers on festive seasons. This more or less allows travellers to book cheap tickets throughout the year. For instance, SpiceJet, just after its revival from the financial crisis, offered tickets at just INR 599 and 1699 for a number of domestic and international destinations, respectively. Hence, people looking for economical options to book flight for Dussehra fair of Nimbahera, can also wait for such offers. For now, people can avail benefits of these current offers announced by Jet Airways and IndiGo.
