Vistara, a full-service airline, is a joint venture between Tata Sons and Singapore Airlines. The company was founded in 2013, but launched operations in January 2015. Being a luxury carrier, it offers three cabin classes. It flies to 16 cities in India, using its fleet of Airbus A320-200s.

After decades, Tata Sons decided to launch another airline and came up with Vistara – a joint venture with Malaysia Airlines.
