Raipur is the capital city of the Indian state Chhattisgarh, which was formed in 2001. Prior to this, it used to be a part of Madhya Pradesh. It is has been observed that the demand for flights on Mumbai-Raipur route increased in the past few months. To capitalise on this demand, IndiGo launched new flights on the route, back in March as a part of its expansion plan. Cricket lovers from Mumbai, who are planning to watch IPL T20 matches scheduled at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, can choose any of the seven non-stop flights operated by Jet Airways, IndiGo and Air India. First two operate three daily flights while the latter one offer two services every day. Travellers can book air ticket to Raipur with any of these airlines without a hitch as they are known for offering top-notch services.
Kolkata
Unlike other two cities, only IndiGo offers non-stop services on Kolkata-Raipur route. This flight leaves at 6.50 am and reaches its destination at 8.15 am. However, more than 40 connecting and direct flight operated between these two cities.
Any of these Raipur domestic flights can be booked by travellers to enjoy IPL matches.
